Don't forget about the Okana Resort, Casino and Meeting space going up in OKC right by the First Americans Museum. 300 rooms, convention space, casino and an indoor waterpark. Plan is to open January 2025.

That "little" casino and hotel just west of there on I-35 is raking in millions every day. The Choctaw casino in Durant is raking in millions of dollars a day.
Build it and they will come. It appears they are making them not just casino,s but also a family destination resort type of facility.
Meanwhile NE Oklahoma is getting a multi-billion dollar resort being built that is going to be similar to Disney?

Of course it's a family destination w casino. How else do we create new gambling addicts. Are they going to make everyone watch a video prior to entry like they play on TV giving warning about gambling addictions as they invite you to place your bets? I'm sure there will be a tender development room for future clients attached to the casino, called the game room where the children can take their chance at winning stuffed animals ( made and purchased from China ) while being served free ice cream as long as the cash rolls. No Bible Thumper here but...this is what's coming !!! OH BROTHER

Spent many, many nights camped in Catfish Bay in the state park. Hate what's happened to it and this isn't an improvement in my mind. Casinos, hotels, and convention centers on our lakes? That stuff is for cities. People go to the lake to get away from all that ****.

A friend of my dad's is a realtor who primarily does commercial real estate, and about 20-25 years ago he said the easiest way to get rich in Oklahoma would be to buy 100 acres and give 90 of them to the Chickasaws for a casino. That remaining 10 would be a gold mine whether you sold or leased it.

Wasn’t too long ago HardRock made a push to get in Shawnee and the Grand. Not sure why it didn’t happen but I got an old buddy in the music industry that was part of the deal and he said it was close. So maybe it’ll happen.
