Local county sheriff's office 0-for-2 before going to OSBI and getting it done right.

My local sheriff dept was great. Very nice people. Their digital machine was down at the time, but the lady took her time and was very conscientious about making sure each print looked good. She had to redo a couple fingers on each hand a few times.

Didn't mean to sound that way. Guess I should have read it again. :homer: Mine was great too. Just had a couple of bad days fingerprinting.

I got mine done this year at Tulsa County, but they didn't use any electronic machine. Got down and dirty with it.

Kind of strange, I've never had a set of prints come back. And they printed me for my security clearance way back in 1976, then again at the PD in 1982 and again in 1985, and now several times for my CCW and renewals.

Maybe it's the fancy machine that is screwing up.

I have never had my finger prints rejected befor either & I've had them done several times for job purposes & concealed carry; always inked. I had been under the impression that the new machines were the be-all, end-all, best thing that ever happened. Wrong

The young man at OSBI said that I would not have had to be printed, if I had not allowed the license to expire. Is this correct?

That is correct. Just fill out the application, attach the pics, and submit.

I've been printed so many times, I've lost track what they were all for. I was mistaken earlier about printing for renewals. It was something else I was printed for.

And no, I'm not a criminal. :D

I got mine done at the sherrif's office in stillwater. I had to go to the basement of the court house where the jail is located and everyone was mean and short until they figuired out I was not there as a criminal, but for my SDA License, after the found that out they were super nice. Oh yeah mine took the first time.

Osage county sheriff has the digital print machine. The gal there did a great job. She had to redo one of my fingers 4 times to get a good print. Felt kinda funny getting this done in the booking area with inmates looking on. At least I could leave!!

Know the feeling, inmates walking by (escorted) while I was finger printed, awkard feeling.
