A little off topic but has anyone considered the little 32 H&R mag?
I've got one in a J frame and it's a pleasure to shoot.
Plus downrange characterisitics are similar to 38spl without the recoil.
I think you could load the 32 S&W's in it also.
A little tough to find one as they only made around 2000 I think.
I think ruger has it in either the gp or sp revolver.
But something to consider.

As for the 22, well a lot of people have been killed by them over the years so it's better than a sharp stick for sure.

Theses are great and yes you can shoot 32 s&w and 32 long in them. You also get 6 rounds instead of the usual 5. The mod # are 432 and 332. The latter is the Ti and are usually pretty expensive

In that same catagory another to look at is the older S&W model 30 and 31. Both are .32L, 6 shot J-frames that can be had in 2", 3", an 4"bbl's. The only difference is the 30 is round butt, and the 31 square butt. Very accurate, very mild, and loaded with WC would make for a very bad day for Mr. BG.

.25acp would be a much better choice IMO.

Centerfire ignition is much more reliable than rimfire and a rimless cartridge feeds more reliably than a rimmed one too.

Thanks guys..... been looking around at the .25acp stuff too. Although, I'm not seeing the ammo around too much. Will look more this weekend.
