Keep up the faith! CO- keep yourself abreast of her Oncologist's plans and study up about the side effects of upcoming Chemotherapy or Radiation treatments, if she ends up needing them. Both can kick anyone's butt, and that's where your toughest job may be- listening quietly, supporting her and picking up the slack so that kids can be kids.
PS- At least the Simmons Cancer center is a nice place. The little things do count.

Update. Surgey went well. Mrs. centraloklahoma is finally home recovering. We appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers! I know it has helped our family.
