modern medicine is pretty amazing, and i'm confident that in a few years, it will only be a blip in the rearview mirror.

Sounds like you have a good team working on you, but it won't be real fun for awhile. I worked with a guy that had this. He was doing great last I heard and it's been years. He initially got a pretty bad sounding prognosis but he beat it, came back to work and excelled. I'll be praying for you guys too.
