If you could be so kind to say a prayer for my wife Linda I would appreciate it.
She is about to have major surgery in OKC tomorrow (Monday 12-09-2013) morning. She is going to have what they believe to be a large GIST tumor (spindle cells identifed in biopsy=meaning cancer) removed from her stomach, which may include removing her entire stomach, also they are removing a "Looks to be benign" tumor from her liver. The surgery may include removing her spleen if it's involved in the liver tumor. Stomach and liver tumors are both larger than softballs.
We have been dealing with this for several weeks and only found it because she had been having heart related issues most likely due to the locations of the tumors putting pressure on the heart. Been married 22 years. We have been blessed with two healthy girls who just have no idea that time with mom may be shorter than we know.

Mrs centraloklahoma is recovering.
Still in ICU. They removed 2/3 of her stomach which had what appear to be two fused together GIST tumors. They also Removed one tumor that looked benign from the liver. Spleen was not involved. Now dealing with pain management issues.
