Thanks everyone. I didnt know little Katie but I am very close to Billy, her grandpa.

I lost a grandson at 1 month. I still mourn his loss, 12 years later. He has two brothers who survived (they were triplets) and I always wonder how much like them or how much different than them he would be now.

My first close loss was my brother this spring. I still can't imagine losing a son or daughter.


And what on earth were they thinking releasing her that quickly? My dad was kept longer than that and "all" they did was remove a kidney.
