Propane Prices

I had my propane tank filled (I have a 500 gallon tank) had about 40% in it. I always fill it this time of year getting ready for winter.
Cost was $2.40 a gallon.
I was expecting it to be higher considering the cost of everything else now days.

Propane guy told me it didn't do it's usual summer drop this year because the US has been sending it overseas the whole time, said to wait to top off the end of this month or beginning of Nov. It didn't even jump on the pipeline news but I'm expecting the obummer winter where it went over $3.00 a gallon.

I only have a 250 gallon and they don’t like refilling it until it’s around 40%……I’m at 60%. Told’m if they were in the area to top me off.
