I agree with the OP. The only thing i would be mindful of is that alcohol can affect judgment. Thus, you may falsely identifiy something as a threat that is really not, or may have less of a normal inhibition to resort to leathal force when under the influence.

None of this discussion matters, because you probably wont remember it when you sober up! LOL!

If this happens to you when you drink, maybe you should not drink. I guess some people react differently to drinking than others.

tRdoc, you are A-OK IMO. If your judgement is good stone cold sober, it's good with 2-3 drinks under your belt. We have strong "Castle Doctrine" self defense laws here in fly over country.

I don't think you would have to worry about your BAC, unless:
1) It was a bad shoot (I know, chances are small, but I can think of multiple ways that this could happen)
2) You were belligerent, staggering or uncooperative to the responding LEO's or EMT's

If so, you might be sandra fluked
