Radiation detector Anyone?

Anyone in the area have access to a radiation detector? The plant in Japan had one of its' reactor buildings blow up.... it would be interesting to see if we get an increase in the amount of radiation in the next 24 hrs.

Jet stream is usually west to east.

Only the outer walls blew away. The metal shielding encasing the reactor is intact.

I know we can trust the govt. and the big power company's. I know there is nothing to fear from the second big explosion at the plant. I guess I could just call one of the chernobyl firefighters and let them tell me everything is alright...

BUT the truth is I'd rather have one you local fire fighters or CD guys run checks the next few days and let us know what you find.
