I am looking to buy a video camera and would like some recommendations. Mainly just a standard camera not looking for the top of the line mega dollar cameras. Basic use would first to video tape all my tools, TVs, etc. for insurance purposes, next the family, and maybe video taping myself shooting to see my form, etc.
I picked up this sony at bestbuy and I really like it for the money

I paid $230 on sale for $300. But they have it in the outlet store for $150 which is a smokin deal for the features. Has a 60x optical zoom which is huge, and a 80gig hd to store all your video instead of using tapes. Also has sd card slot for additional video storage if needed. Also picked up a 10hr extended battery on amazon for $25
