Remington customer support and warranties

Just in case anyone was wondering if there was any support for Remington firearms post buyout, here is an email I received in response to an inquiry a few minutes ago.

Also this, elaborating that there is no written warranty for even newly produced firearms from the new RemArms company.

The only Remmington firearms i ever cared about owning was their 870 and the old single shot bolt action 22lr's other than that i could something else i preferred.

No reason to buy a new Remington with service like that. Glad all mine are '70s and 80's

Post #2 is most troubling if I was in the market for a new Remington firearm.

The older Remingtons is some best rifles ever made. Like everything else it continues to change.

Wont be looking at any Remy's with that kind of policy in place anytime in the future. I have several old Rem 700 's I want part with but no more new acquisitions. Good luck with that mentality ever being successful.
