Remington customer support and warranties

Not a whole heck of a lot different, and I have never met anyone who had a complaint about Ruger’s customer service……I’m pretty sure they won’t touch prior Marlin guns either.
I’m not defending the new big green, I would just say give them a chance…….time will tell.

And as far as support goes, try to get older 110 parts from the “New” Savage.
It seems whenever one of these companies changes hands, support suffers.

They would service older marlins. I had to do so myself once before

This is all I know about it….if Ruger hooked-a-brother-up, then props to Ruger.
Thankfully my Marlin-made XLR has not left me needing to find out

Just in case anyone was wondering if there was any support for Remington firearms post buyout, here is an email I received in response to an inquiry a few minutes ago.

After what Remington did to Paraordnance I swore off them!

If it wasn’t for military contracts and the few civilian hold outs, Remington would have died a long time ago. Their 700 action is light years behind the most basic action out there and legacy firearms in the services is the only thing keeping them in the military circles. The Army and Marine Corps need to cut ties with them and move on to Accuracy International where the big boys play.

Winchester had Remington beat years ago but decided not to venture into the military arena and the still dominate Remington

I like the remington 700 but would never buy a new one, there are other companies that use the 700 style action.
