Damn shame. I met up with him once, and chatted for a few minutes. He was easy to warm up to.

What? Im shocked! I was just at his house a couple weeks ago. Man this saddens me to no end. I mentioned the picture he had of his wife on the fireplace mantel and he just looked at me and smiled. At least he is with her again. RIP buddy.

I never had a pleasure to meet Joel. I did however look forward to his post and his contribution to this forum. It seems he also contributed much to many of you and your lives. God Bless him and his loved ones. Prayers for all.

Joel was, and likely still is, an important part of OSA. I did have the pleasure of meeting him about a year ago while we were helping our son get his "new to him" home ready to move in. Joel and I met in person at his house because he had an OSA cap to give me. Since I haven't had an occasion to wear it, it will now be a part of a very small collection of special caps to me.

Rest easy, Joel. You will be missed.

Seems like I met Joel once in Shawnee gun room and sold him a Glock 43. Great guy. He invited me in to shoot with him, but I was on my way to work. Looking back, I shoulda called my boss and told him I was gonna be late. RIP Jarhead.
