Been shooting the Sig 2022 for a couple years now and am very happy with it. Not sure how much price is a factor for you but they can be had for around $400.

Very long double action pull (almost too long). Single action is very crisp and clean.

Probably have around 3k rounds through it and never had one single malfunction.

Only sig pistol I have owned so far has been a 2022.

Like my SIG.
Shot some nice 3gen S&Ws, but have you tried to get parts lately? Looks like they might be the Windows XP of handguns: nice, popular, lack of support.

Have a Sig Pro 2340 (model before 2022), P6, P220, and a Ruger KP90DC. I prefer the Sig Pro's decocker over the others, though I'm probably in the minority.
