These shootings are just going to keep happening as long as guns are legal in suburbia.

Tulsa, but really it's Broken Arrow!
Serious question though...
If it is true that this man killed the two reporters, how long until this gets swept aside based on race alone?[/QUOTE]

It will not get swept under the rug. The media and "some" people will always make it about race to keep stuff going.

That is my point. This doesnt fit the narrative. Will the media default to #blacklivesmatter or will they rally around their own media types and condemn the attack for longer than a week?

He's still alive, in critical condition. What a tragedy.
That's too bad. waste of a perfectly good bullet.

Terry McAuliffe will be calling for new gun restrictions.

He did already. It may have been his 4th or 5th sentence that he made to the public on this incident. Whatever it was I doubt the gunsmoke had cleared...

McAuliffe noted that his family had just vacationed at Smith Mountain Lake and used the tragedy to repeat his support for tighter gun control.

“What a tragedy, he said. “We just finished a family vacation standing literally on the dock area, where we rented out boats. Such a beautiful site.”

“There are too many guns in the hands of people who should not have guns,” he said. “That is why I’ve long advocated for background checks. … We’ve got, in America, we’ve got to come together. There’s too much gun violence in the United States of America.”
