I am a great fan of T/C Contenders and Encores. These are short handy little rifles and the glory of it all you can try any caliber you want to: .223, .357, 30-30, 35 Rem. etc....They all shoot better than I can and can even be converted to a pistol if that turns you on. My kind of deer getter.
