I've been preaching the "buy it now, because the government will ban the importation of steel cased, military caliber ammo" for months and months now. It hasn't happened yet, but it's getting closer. I don't think there'll be any bans on the pistol calibers, or any brass cased domestic ammo, rifle or otherwise. Maybe a big limit on purchase quantities. But I still believe you can kiss the cheaper imported stuff good bye.

This ! There will be a ban on importation of any kind of "scary looking assault weapon" and also most likely on imported Russian ammo. Get it now ! FYI, SGAmmo still has some 7.62 x 39 cheap in 1000 round cases. Get it now though, almost gone. AR 5.56 ammo: Too late.

That may be the whole plan after all. Pass the UN treaty quickly and then use sympathy over current events to ratify it in Congress. That would be MUCH WORSE ! than any kind of AWB Feinstein might be able to push through.

Here's a thought. Maybe the loss of our second amendment will cause the secessionists to go through with their plan. The US bans "Assault Rifles." The Republic of Texoma doesn't!

I see I'm way late on the AR ammo. ;( I purchased 200 rounds of Monarch steel a couple of weeks ago, and I've gone through half of it. The other half was on my boat.
