Without commenting on her actions on SNL, it's hard to say she wasn't right about the Church covering up sexual abuses (which IIRC was the reason for her actions)

All I've seen is that the cause of death is unknown. Where are you all seeing that she suicided herself?
I was wondering this myself.
I think her last social media post was very indicative and it was known she was struggling with the loss of her child.
On July 17 she posted, “Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul. We were one soul in two halves. He was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally. I am lost in the bardo without him.”
But I do think it’s speculation and not yet confirmed.

I commend her for it and it opened up the floodgates to expose the Catholic Church for the sexual abuse against boys...
I did see a need for that.
Well if it did that, I then retract my observation!
My recollection is that the abuse scandal was already very well known at this point, and the whole thing was a stunt to draw attention to herself moreso than the scandal. YMMV.
