Well, just bought a Hornady LnL powder measure. I ran a dryer sheet over it real well before I started, but the AA No 5 I put in there just stuck to everything. It stuck to the plastic hopper and all of the metal parts. Can't even get canned air to blow it all out. Any recommendations?

Hornady recommends using their One Shot Gun Cleaner and Dry Lube but I imagine there are similar products that might work, too.

From the Hornady website:

My powder charges vary when I drop them. What can I do to make them uniform?
Static can cause charges to vary. Take a dryer sheet and rub it vigorously on the ouside of the powder tube. This will discharge the static and make the charges uniform.

The L-n-L black powder hopper is made from aluminum to avoid static but I don't know if it's metering unit is compatible with the normal inserts. Maybe even if you can just replace the hopper if they are interchangable?

Anyway, if you somehow have tons of static around, it might be worth researching.
