I just left a garage sale in Savannah Lakes edition (just east of the 59th street and Mustang Road intersection) in Mustang. They had 9 AR's in various calibers for sale along with lots of magazines, ammo, ar rails, knives, ammo cans, scopes, brass cleaner machine, vests, ammo belts and lots more.....Lots of other stuff for sale that is not gun related. The man selling the items received them when his father passed away....lots of odd wildcat ammo as well as the common stuff

yeah i mean a mag catch should only be like $10....depending on what model of ar-10, it may only take steel surplus mags as opposed to pmags. i had some BRN-10's that did not take pmags. so it might not even be a mag catch issue, might just simply be the wrong mag. ar-10's aren't as universal as 15's.
You are correct....I went back and tried a DPMS steel mag and it worked just fine......so I took it home with me......
