GOOD for them. I am the guy that will call a business or stop in and let them know they either need to replace it or take it down if it looks bad.

So if I choose to fly a tattered flag on veterans day that has special meaning to me it should be confiscated? Screw you guys.

Mixed feelings. From the article: "State law prohibits the display of a worn-out and tattered flag by anyone," said police chief Steve Norman.

I did a quick search of state statutes but didn't find anything that applied to private property. Anyone find the law that Chief Norman is talking about?

Yes. You being a veteran should know. We never fly an unserviceable flag.

That's funny because I got it from my ship. It was given to me after a major "exercise" we did. It flew tattered night and day for 3 weeks in high winds. Maybe the Navy is just more practical, doesn't make sense to ruin a flag everyday.
