Partially correct. We are paying CA taxes up through end of August then OK taxes for Sept through Dec. Where we are getting it in the pooper is with the taxes on our home sale in CA.

CPA hasn’t finished mine yet. Sold 2 properties, bought 2, traded/mined crypto, dropped another kid of our return and had some decent winnings on cruise ship casino. I’m screwed.

Right, however tell that to the 700 plus people that are currently incarcerated in D.C for the Jan. 6th ordeal. Remember they want to make an example out of people they disagree with.

Yeah, we used all the work arounds and deductions available including listing all improvements we made to our home and the associated costs to help reduce our tax liabilities. Still getting his with a big number.
The federal return was filed Friday and the money was withdrawn this morning. The .gov is efficient and fast when it comes to giving us the shaft!
