When this Summer got to hot to mow, and I refuse to hire a landscaping company to do my smallish yard. Then I spent a couple of weekends build a remote control lawnmower.

I will totally help you how to build one! Where to buy the parts.
I am still need to finish the Wall-E body been sitting in my garage since summer. And change the gas engine to electronic motor.
And if I would to build it again probably only cost half as much.

Refuse to buy bottled water or soft drinks at a convenience store. Buy at Wallys way cheaper, coffee as well. Make at home and fill up a thermos for the cost of one cup. Try to catch meat on sale, ham, chuck, hamburger even boloney and buy a bunch. Portion and freeze. Rarely eat out. Dollar shave club, eco model. Cut own hair, most of the time. Home repairs but not messing with electricity.

LOL, the lawnmower is great. Heard someone on the CB the other day bragging about getting zero percent interest on an $8000.00 mower. I flat out said I would go buy an old pickup with a/c and build a mower deck for less than that. Shoot, I build a mower like that and the neighbourhood kids will be paying me to mow the lawn.
