I've already redone the putty on top 3x
This is a new sink, new drain kit, it's leaked from the first time it was installed.
I guess I'll grab a new gasket/kit.
Had one just recently that did that switched to an all metal assembly and took care of it ! i think its is just the way they mould the sinks that is the problem! sorry for your hassleI've already redone the putty on top 3x

not the gasket well i think its more the cheap ass drain assembly. JMO.
Yuck & Pucky it. Nothing a flat tip and a razor can't remove and only you will know...unless you tell all the plumbers in this forum.
The mechanic’s rule of thumb is to get a different tool. Get a bigger hammer!
they even make Flowable clear got some here at work

if you do that bed the top and put some on bottom suck up firm and let set overnight!
