This is a long shot, but I'm looking for a Fender Stratocaster 1969 with a maple neck.

Whether one plays or not, guitars can make for good investments.

As to playing, look at it the way Keith Richards does … ”Need five strings, three notes, two fingers and one a— hole … that’s all it takes to play guitar.”
I have a Tele with 5 strings tuned in G for my Keef Stones covers I play and playing blues slide on it.

David Gimour played one. "Gilmours black strat". He made some custom changes to his, but it's pretty close to what he played. Like I've said, I'm into the collection aspect. I don't play. Plus, it's something I can leave to my son.
Gilmour did many changes to the black strat over the years. There is a 4-volume set of books out on his black strat that sells for around $800 I think it was.
