I'm not going to help you here, but after getting my Dan Wesson Pointman 9, I'm saving my pennies to trade up from my 5" S&W 1911PD to a 4.25" Dan Wesson Guardian.

You might want to look at an ECO too.... got one in 9mm and for the money....dunno if you can beat it. Keep an eye out for those DW "blems" that pop up from time to time.

Just bought a set of these, so now I HAVE to buy a SR1911 CMD. After owning the 5" model, I really think they're one of the best options out there for the money.

I climb on and off the 1911 bandwagon, and I am back on right now. In the last two weeks, I have bought a used STI Shadow "officer size" and two used Wilson Combat CQB Compacts (an '02 and '04 builds).

If my wife asks, they are for investment purposes only.:thumb:
