I have been eating that all weekend and supper tonight! wife make cornbread in pie pans. yummy! none leftit did give some terrible gas though, and i was sprayed by air freshner all night in bed. woke up smelling like a pot of flowers.
Seriously, when you soak the beans over night, add a tablespoon of baking soda to the water. It will help cut down on the gas, and cook the beans till done.
Heck ya, PACKERS LEAD THE WAY..well they did for most of the season, then failed to show up for 2 games..
Everytime I hear that song, it makes me want to open up a little hole in the wall beans & cornbread diner downtown and play that kind of music all day long to the sweet sweet smell of home cookin'.
For dessert are you crumbling up you corn bread in buttermilk? Because that's the best use for corn bread. That's a great sharecropper dessert.
