I have used nothing but Green Dot for over 30 yrs. good, consistent, safe loads.

31 gr Green Dot, 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2s (use same for dove and quail) AA wad, AA or Rem hull

I've been very happy with this load:
17.3 gr Hodgdon Clays
1 1/8 oz shot
Claybuster CB1118-12 wad (or use a real Winchester WAA-12)
AA hull
Win 209 primer

According to the Hodgdon loading manual it should yield about 1145 fps muzzle velocity. Nice and mild. If you decide to shoot trap from the 25 yard line it can be amped up to 18.2 gr of Clays for 1200 fps.

I'm half blind, can't walk, barely able to handle a shotgun, but I'll give it a try.:teehee:

Seems to me you get around as well as I do, and I KNOW you handle a shotgun better! As for being half blind ... well, I know you're still driving, hunting, and shooting competition, so it can't be TOO bad!!!
