Knowing how media can twist things to meet a narrative, I can ask Franklin the next time I see him. He’s always seemed like a strong 2A proponent in the past, but I know he’s under tremendous pressures from the rising crime in N Tulsa and E Tulsa.

Teach people to forgive and violence fades away. Usher in secularism and rebellion (liberal moral values) and the flood gates of crap come rushing in!

Well it turns out this is just the tip of the iceberg with this Chief, wow not well liked or respected. Now I know (I stay out of Tulsa as much as is possible)

I’d be interested to hear what the guy has to say if confronted with this article. If he doubles down, y’all in Tulsa need to tar and feather his @ss.

My guess is this would be another case of rules for thee but not for me especially since he states upfront that law enforcement are the “experts”.

He‘s appointed by the Mayor, and I wish I hadn’t asked about him holy hell is he disliked amongst rank and file

I believe I read recently that Tulsa was experiencing an increase in arson cases. The only recourse is to have a five day waiting period on buying matches.

Maybe ban them semi-auto lighters as well. What could be more ominous that someone who can flick their Bic much faster than striking a match!

Gun crime is such a problem. I hear reports of shootings all the time on my way to work...rarely does the description of the suspect go beyond "tall, in his twenties"

We have a gun problem? Or do we have a "tall, in his twenties" problem?

From those under him, I am told he doesn't want a significant amount of arrests in north Tulsa, due to optics. I don't know him, so just going by what I'm told.
