Stargate - The original movie was disappointing,,,
Stargate Directors Cut - Possibly my all time favorite science fantasy movie.

Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe

Babylon 5 - and two of the made for tv movies

Firefly (series) and Serenity (movie)

Rome - Possibly the best thing HBO ever produced

Hill Street Blues - The first TV series to have multiple/overlapping story arcs. It's early 80's production so the cars are lumbering dinosaurs, no cell phones (one great episode about Belcher trying to find a pay phone at night in the ghetto), barely any computers. I love this show but I've tried to introduce it to some 30-40 year old friends and it left them cold. Like me watching 1950's Peter Gunn.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Through Avengers: Endgame and a few after that. Unbelievable feat to have 20-plus movies come to such a satisfying conclusion.

And too many more to mention.

Of all the awesome Louis L'Amour stories / books and the movies they spawned; I have often wondered why "Last of the Breed" (only non-Western he wrote and my absolute favorite story) was not made into a movie.

I read most everything L'Amour wrote. Dad was in the hospital and Mom bought Last of the Breed for him.

He finished it in a day and said I had to read it. I started that evening, couldn't put it down. Finished it just in time to shower and go to work. Loooooong day.
Awesome story. About time to reread it.
I reread it every 3-4 years, for around 35 years.
