Washington State is beautiful in July!

We went a few years ago to visit my DIL relatives near MT St Helens, beautiful country. Nice temps this time of year. Growing up we always went to Colo every year...

Our friends are doing exactly that right now^^^^^. On my list of to-do.

I love the Keys in the winter, but a summer vacay there would be hot and sticky. You're right about the food.

Branson has really slowed down, I'd pass on Branson. We're here and things aren't exactly jumping.

My wife and I spent a week in Sedona, AZ, two years ago, from there you could do day trips to Grand Canyon, Gun site academy, Prescott, ect. Beautiful rock formations in the high desert.

We've been going to Branson since we were married 28 years ago (I think lol). Never been to a show, or any of the attractions other than that wine tasting place. We stay at Lilleys landing and trout fish.

Just got back from Rockland, Maine over the Memorial Day week. We rented a house (VRBO) in Owls Head,ME on the Penobscot Bay. I'd never been to Maine before but I'll definitely return. Ate lobster everyday, ran down to Freeport (LL Bean campus) and up to Deer Isle on the Northern tip of the Penobscot.

Ate some form of lobster everyday.

We have been going to Branson since the 80's. Gone to most of the shows, SDC, Branson Belle, Sheperd of the Hills ,etc. Kinda burned out and no plans on going back anytime soon...
