I'm not sure I really need one; just soliciting advice and opinions from ya'll. The guy who smacked into me wasn't a jerk or anything. So right now I'm just asking a question...ya know?

Most of the time it should be routine; as long as they take care of you, BUT if you or she is genuinely hurt, then they need to take care of it; otherwise, that is when the attorney comes in I'd say. Most of the cases I know or "rear endings" are minor and no attorney needed...if someone smashed me and I was hurt, then I'd go to the doctor and expect to be paid for my treatment by insurance. This shouln'd be a money making thing unless there is longer term injury, loss of work, etc. IMHOP
