New York Post story.
A guy calls the sheriff's office in Stevens County, Washington and says he's planning a hunting trip to the Big Meadow Lake area and wants to know if Sasquatch can be hunted, does it take a special license, etc.
The unnamed man also said he would not hunt female Sasquatch, only males.
Sheriff's dept. told the man he should call the state Fish and Wildlife department.
But the guy said he already called them and they told him to call the sheriff's department.
The next day, the patrol chief at the Stevens County Sheriff's Dept. called the guy back and told him that since Big Meadow Lake is in Pend Oreille County's jurisdiction, he should call the sheriff's office there.
And the patrol chief said he is sure there are no Sasquatch in Stevens County because if there were, one of the deputies would have already accidentally hit it with a. patrol car.
