Biggest we got in Cheyenne was maybe ping pong size, and very few that size, mainly marble/nickel size

Lawton got ome good sized ones. 1.5 to 2 inch sized. All our vehicles got hit pretty hard. One hit my windshield and left a mark like it was hit by a golf ball

I had a grapefruit size come through my unit's windshield in Kansas in 1987. It took out an ambulance windshield too.

If my wife didn't go into town that day my car would have been safe. I never get damaging weather in my 5 years in Faxon. But in that few hours in Lawton, my car got $5500 in damage which compared to some of my co-workers is nothing.
