I have a Brittany that is 13 years old. She lost a leg when she was 6 but it never slowed her down when it came to hunting. I have noticed lately that she is having a hard time getting around but does not seem to be in any pain right now. I know she only has a couple of years left but I do not look forward to the day when I have to put her down. Sorry for your loss
Sorry to hear this. My wife and I had to do the same with a Great Dane and a Shar Pei years ago. It's a hard thing to do even when it's the right thing to do.
