I know people get tired of hearing the "when I was a kid" stories, but I don't care. I can remember in mid-summer, just before the sun went down, driving down the road and seeing big tarantulas going across the road. You could look down the road and see what seemed like dozens at any given time. I guess they migrate. It was really creepy. They looked like dinner plates. I wouldn't have gotten out of the car for any man's money.
