As the title says, What is this? What is a “Slung Shot?”

Is that what I made and used growing up, shooting at targets and evil critters with rocks and marbles? Now sold off the shelves at Walmart and Academy Sports?

If it’s the same thing, I’ve only known it as a “Sling Shot”. A misdemeanor to possess and a felony to carry or use against a person.
