Any rock hounds on OSA? I picked this up out on my property the other day. It has the look of petrified fish eggs if that makes sense. Smooth, not sand stone. Just thought someone may know what it is.
Cool rock. My wife is a rock hound. When the lake is down, I take a bucket and a folding chair. I set the chair up near the boat and give her the bucket. I’ll sit and have a beer and listen to music while she gathers rocks. Let’s just say, I’ve got a few buckets of rocks around..

I forgot the name of em but the bigger ones are pretty heavy.
Without seeing it in person, it looks like oolitic limestone that has been stream worn. One of the ways to tell is take hydrochloric acid (muratic acid) and put a drop on the rock. If it fizzes, it is limestone.
