What kind of rock is this??

You know you can make that a weather rock. Hang it from a string, cord, macrame, what ever. Just watch it then,
if it's swinging = windy
If shadow under it = sun is shining
If it's wet = raining
If you can't see it without a flashlight = nighttime

Since it hasn't come up yet the technical term for Oolitic Limestone is Leaverite..........as in leave er right there cause it's a rock. I'm just being Gneiss, so don't take it for Granite. Who thinks all this Schist up anyway?
Out of work geologist, will identify rocks for food!:wink2:

I used to toss the Leaverite. Then I figured out that folks at the Rock & Mineral shows would buy that stuff. All kinds of stuff. I just got a bit carried away. So now I'm back to looking at it and letting it once again be Leaverite...
