ORGANIZATION. Selection, pricing, etc, all important, but the easier it is to find your items, the easier it is to buy. Also, tagging the items might help, associate all items related to uppers, etc, and have a good search function that takes advantage of that, some suck. Also as a tip, make sure to put static content in for the items. Will really help your search engine ratings.

Most gun sites have awful organization of items. "Accessories" needs to be broken down into categories. I like how bravo company does it. Pretty well laid out, but in some of their non-gun categories it gets shaky.

Notice of Availability. Some places dont list whether its in stock or not. You have to nearly buy the thing to find out its out of stock. It should follow the following layout: Item name, part or stock number, Price, in stock, pic(s), description.

It's nice to see pictures of products from multiple angles, especially when there's something to be shown off a little. Side profiles of firearms is a bare minimum, but a few more from different angles or focusing on various details never hurts.
