State politicians are so worried about loosing immunity they have Senate Lawyers involved in this case, at our expense of course.

[The Senate's attorneys also will have a chance to express lawmakers' concerns about language in a recent Court of Criminal Appeals decision denying Leftwich's motion to dismiss, the entry said.

"Obviously, the Legislature has a huge stake in the issue," said Lee Slater, an attorney for the state Senate.

The appeals court said in its June decision that the state constitution's speech and debate clause "includes an express exception for felonies," a conclusion McCampbell has said is "just flat inaccurate."

Slater said state lawmakers are concerned that the appellate court ruling will essentially gut lawmaker's immunity under the speech and debate clause for their official actions.]

If we eliminated immunity for all politicians, I'll bet we'd have a lot fewer stupid laws!

After listening to that video, I now understand why so many people here are so angry and frightened all the time.

Enabling Act? Oh, OK. Uncle Hermann is laughing his ass off at the comparison.
