I was given the name of a guy at H&H to ask for (and to politely decline if he's busy). His name is Andrew. Don't know if he's still working there and/or sharpening, but our kitchen knives were beautifully sharpened.

If this place is still open, I would try it. Its the best place I've ever found. Many years ago, I was refurbishing a Red Fox Wood Planner. The knives were dull, and had an odd shape. Took them to Klucks and they did an amazing job sharpening the blades.

That Amazon post of a knife sharpener will make a knife sharp but will also need to be used again and again as it will remove
a lot of steel from a blade and you do not get a smooth finish. I have used one decades ago when I was a teen and it was good in a pinch
for kitchen knives.

My good knives got a stone and leather belt treatment.
Sharpest knife I ever seen was a blade I made for a friend and he made a handle for it and did the final work on the blade.
Polishing wheel with rough on a bench grinder.
It was Ninja sharp.
I actually dropped a hair I pulled from my head onto the edge and it cut it.

My whole life I never seen such a sharp knife.

I agree with @El Pablo you should really learn to do it yourself.
Unless you have some kind of arthritis or handicap you can pull it off.

Theres a younger kid at Little Joe's Boots in the stockyards in OKC. He's very knowledgable on knives and when I've had em sharpen mine in the past he only charges $5 a knife. There's plenty of nice knives to look at while you wait.
