I remember when there was no FM radio...Only AM, with all the static....remember when I got my first transistor radio....I even remember listening to the radio programs before our first TV.....The Saturday morning radio programs for kids.....Lone Ranger, Sky King, Sgt. Preston, etc.......Then of course Amos N Andy, The Inner Sanctum.

And before we HAD cassette recorders,...going to TG&Y and buying 45's for 10 cents a piece!

Hell....I worked there! Back then, IIRC a pack of cigs was about $0.50
