I went out Tuesday afternoon and ended up seeing like 12 doe. Could've taken one with my crossbow and another with the rifle had I wanted to deal with them in the evening.

Probably should've loaded up and headed down today, but I plan to try and get back out tomorrow evening to see what I can see.

Actually got my daughter in town long enough to go this evening. Seen quite a few, no shooters close enough yet. Nice out for the end of December. Still got some shooting time left.

So sitting in the stand this morning for the last day of my holiday antlerless season. No does in sight but then this guy from Mother Natures Sanitation Department shows up. Figured I’d save some fawns today… I don't always hunt with a pistol but when I do its with a 10mm loaded with 180gr HP. Did the job on this fella. My biggest so far at 58lbs. He wasn't missing any meals.
