About those zip ties on the emergency opening garage door feature.

Great idea. I did mine. Then I pulled on the emergency release and found that it took over 200 pounds with an added jerk (I was the jerk) to break the zip tie.

So I downsized the zip tie until I found the right one that broke fairly easily. The strength of the tie is not critical when it comes to defeating the coat hanger trick.

If you had to escape quickly, say from a fire, and couldn't get the door released, it could be embarrassing.

That's when I put one of the two vehicles in there in reverse, and act like the door isn't down.

I'm beginning to think the homeless dude in the attic may not be out of the question.
