It's getting that time of the year again. What type of christmas music do you guys and gals prefer. Personally I like the old Frank Sinatra stuff the best. Next comes Elvis.

I love it all. Here are some of my favorites. I'll be more than happy to provide even more. I'm all about Christmas.

I'm an atheist, but this is one of the most passionate, powerful performances ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjsTx0RLrLM (forward it to 1:25 if you're only interested in the song). I love it, O Holy Night doesn't get any better than that right there.

Whiteheart - Little Drummer Boy (better than Bob Seger, imo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHOgHsKViD4

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York (any one Irish here will probably know this song, if not, they'll like it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwHyuraau4Q

Karen Carpenter - Merry Christmas Darling: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YR1ujXx2p-I

Carny and Wendy Wilson - Hey Santa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VO8NYJ0bZ1c

Vince Vance and the Valiants - All I Want for Christmas is You: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1VkMBi9vvw

Josh Groban - O Holy Night (it's no Phelps, but my 2nd favorite): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQWXfHzOKUU

Johnny Mathis - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYTnzNeTWmE

Muppets & John Denver - 12 Days of Christmas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4j1paMC5SM

John Williams - Carol of the Bells (Home Alone rules!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elAtcHU0iCU

John Lennon - Happy Xmas (War is Over): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8jw-ifqwkM

Leon Redbone and Zooey Deschanel (SHWING!) - Baby It's Cold Outside (all other versions suck, they're too fast paced for the message he's trying to get across (to stall her so she's around longer)): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjYUzpdKMZs

You can't go wrong with any Burl Ives, Dean Martin, Sinatra, Gene Autry, Andy Williams, or Bing Crosby.
