It's getting that time of the year again. What type of christmas music do you guys and gals prefer. Personally I like the old Frank Sinatra stuff the best. Next comes Elvis.
I love it all. Here are some of my favorites. I'll be more than happy to provide even more. I'm all about Christmas.
I'm an atheist, but this is one of the most passionate, powerful performances ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjsTx0RLrLM (forward it to 1:25 if you're only interested in the song). I love it, O Holy Night doesn't get any better than that right there.
The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York (any one Irish here will probably know this song, if not, they'll like it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwHyuraau4Q
Leon Redbone and Zooey Deschanel (SHWING!) - Baby It's Cold Outside (all other versions suck, they're too fast paced for the message he's trying to get across (to stall her so she's around longer)): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjYUzpdKMZs
You can't go wrong with any Burl Ives, Dean Martin, Sinatra, Gene Autry, Andy Williams, or Bing Crosby.
