I Got Delayed....LOL

After 7 months of being in business, I decided to get somthing for myself.

I got a Ruger Tactical Mini 14, Well, I let my wife run a 4473 on me, so I could transfer it into my collecton.

I got DELAYED!! LMAO... So I called them back immeadiatley, I was VERY amused, not angry.

I got a call 5 min later that said proceed.

I always made jokes about me being delayed, cant believe it actually happened...

Gov't never ceases to amaze me....

Just though you all would find this pretty amusing, as I have!

I got a regular customer, an 85 yr old War Vet, one traffic ticket in his whole life...

He gets the FULL 3 days, with no callback everytime.

Flawed, very flawed.

I've never gotten delayed, but then again, I can almost guarantee that I am the only person in the world who has my complete name.

Never delayed as far as a gun, but I have a continual battle with my credit report. Equifax likes to add some other idiots history to my file occasionally and it makes my credit score look like the stock market.

What you have to remember is that to the system you are not a person but a name...

My brother used to be a truck driver, and every time he went into Canada, when he came back out they would pull him out and handcuff him because there is another person in the US with his name that is wanted for murder.

It got to where he would just park and walk up to the booth with his arms held out for them to put the cuffs on. They took it as the joke it was meant to be, but they also had to put the cuffs on him until they could go through the motions and verify that he wasn't the guy they were looking for.

When you deal with 300 million people, things can get blurred sometimes.

apparently i have the same name as a guy on death row in utah, 3 days every time never fails.
