How is that? If you've got some intel, please share.

You'll need to explain that.
I can think I can help out here.

What Rick means to say is Paul doesn't believe in:
imposing his social values on other people
doesn't support feeding the military industrial complex through endless military adventures all over the world

Therefore, he's no conservative.

That was kind of what I was thinking.

I'm also wondering why Rush doesn't support Paul??? I mean, Paul's for legalizing drugs so Rush would be able to get his Oxy's easier, and cheaper! You think he'd be all over Paul like a all-you-can-eat buffet.

This is why so many people are turned off by Ron Paul's supporters. Especially on this board. Because so many think that if you don't embrace Ron Paul, you either don't understand him or his policies, or if you don't agree, then you should be ridiculed.

Keep up the good work.

I didn't intend to ridicule anyone. You've got a pile of candidates this year, all of them are bought and sold and have supported unconstitutional government except for one man, Dr. Paul. So in my opinion, either you support the constitution and Dr. Paul, or you don't support the constitution.

I guess some of it comes down to personal beliefs. Some believe the Constitution is the law, the legal basis of America. But many,(including many in the Gov.) contend it's just another form of political ideology to be used, abused, manipulated, and changed to suit personal and group agendas.

You can replace Ron Paul with any political candidate, or political party for that matter, and this post is still true.

You just described "having a political opinion". Everybody thinks anyone with an opposing view is either ignorant, stupid or evil.

Yes, much like the “Ron Paul is nuts” crowd?

I guess I can understand supporting a guy who, if his daughter had been raped and become pregnant, would encourage her to have the baby, because it was still her child and a “gift that God has given her”, over a guy who wants to cut Federal expenditures in a deep recession. No question which stance sounds “nuts” there.

I’ve never ridiculed anyone here for support or dissent of any candidate; I’ll admit that I wonder what the hell some are thinking about half the time. Paul ain’t gonna win. And since everyone seems to want to talk about abortion, that’s a good thing: you got four more years of a big one, known as the Obama Administration, coming up soon.
